GigE Machine Vision CAT 6 Camera Cable with Locking RJ-45, Right Angle UP – Kyptec Automation®

Kyptec Automation® offers a GigE camera cable CAT 6 with locking RJ-45 connectors and a Right Angle UP camera-side configuration for professional industrial imaging systems. The cable has been designed for machine vision installations where a secure Ethernet connection and controlled connector orientation are required around the industrial camera.

The camera-side RJ-45 connector incorporates horizontal locking screws to help secure the connection and is configured with a Right Angle UP cable exit. The opposite host-side connector is a straight RJ-45 type. This mechanical arrangement can be particularly useful when the available space above, below or around the camera determines the direction in which the cable must leave the connector.

The cable uses 26 AWG copper conductors together with shielded twisted pairs to help provide reliable Gigabit Ethernet signal transmission and reduce interference. Kyptec Automation® provides the cable in 2 Meter, 3 Meter and 5 Meter configurations, while alternative lengths can be supplied on request.

For industrial machine vision cameras, scientific imaging systems, product inspection equipment and factory automation platforms, the combination of CAT 6 connectivity, screw retention and directional connector design provides system integrators with a purpose-built alternative to ordinary Ethernet patch cables. The Right Angle UP arrangement allows the cable to be selected according to the physical geometry of the machine and camera installation.
