12.5 MM 2 MP SWIR Lens for 2/3-Inch Cameras, 900–1700 nm, F1.4
The Kyptec Automation® 12.5 MM SWIR Camera Lens is designed for short-wave infrared imaging from 900 to 1700 nm, providing 2 MP optical resolution for 2/3-inch format sensors. It incorporates an F1.4 aperture and C-mount interface for straightforward integration with compatible industrial SWIR cameras.
With a 12.5 MM focal length, the lens provides a moderately wide imaging geometry while offering a more concentrated field than the 8.5 MM version. This allows the system designer to balance field width and object detail according to sensor size and working-distance constraints.
SWIR imaging depends on more than camera sensitivity alone. The lens must efficiently transmit the target spectral band and form a usable image at the sensor plane. A lens engineered for 900–1700 nm operation is therefore an essential part of a properly designed SWIR imaging chain.
The 2/3-inch, φ12 mm sensor-format compatibility defines the intended image coverage, while the F1.4 aperture provides substantial light throughput.
