25 MM SWIR Camera Lens – 900–1700 nm, 2 MP, 2/3-Inch, C-Mount

Kyptec Automation® provides a 25 MM SWIR Camera Lens developed for industrial short-wave infrared imaging across the 900–1700 nm wavelength range. The optical platform supports 2 megapixel resolution, 2/3-inch sensor format, F1.4 aperture and a standard C-mount camera interface.

The 25 MM focal length provides a versatile middle-range imaging geometry within the SWIR lens series. It can offer a useful balance between scene coverage, working distance and object magnification, allowing engineers to configure the optical path around both the physical machine layout and the required image scale.

Because SWIR cameras operate outside the visible spectrum, optical compatibility with the target wavelength band is critical. Standard visible-light lenses may not provide the required transmission or focus characteristics throughout 900–1700 nm. This dedicated SWIR design is intended to form the optical link between a SWIR-sensitive sensor and the scene being analysed.

The F1.4 aperture provides strong photon collection for situations where SWIR illumination levels or exposure time are constrained, while the 2/3-inch image format matches a widely used sensor class. Together, these specifications make the 25 MM lens a practical core focal length for professional SWIR system integration.
