A CT scan can help doctors detect and evaluate various abnormalities affecting the liver. It provides detailed cross-sectional images that may reveal liver cysts, masses, tumours, abscesses, injuries and changes in the liver’s size or structure. Depending on the clinical concern, contrast material may be used to provide additional information about liver tissue and blood vessels. However, an abnormal CT finding does not automatically indicate a serious condition, and further tests may sometimes be required. Aarna Diagnostic Centre provides CT imaging for detailed assessment of liver and abdominal conditions when clinically recommended by a healthcare professional.
